Birds On The Wires

One day Jarbas Agnelli was reading his newspaper when he saw a picture of birds on electric wires which immediately fascinated him. He noticed that the positions of the birds looked like a piece of musical notation.  He set about recreating the melody based on where the birds were perched and then created this animation with the photo, the music and the score.

Beck has a little side project called, Record Club in which he groups together various musicians to record an album in a day. The chosen songs are often rough renditions, but I think their cover of INXS’ New Sensation is nothing short of sensational.

Vintage and Retro Surf Market

Deus Ex Machina are holding a surf and swap meet on Saturday the 12th of December from 10am till 5pm in their parking lot at 104 Parramatta rd Camperdown, Sydney. There’s going to be food stalls, vintage surfboards, retro surfboards, vintage skateboards and components, surf collectibles, art works, posters, vintage beach themed furniture and clothes. In a word: Rad.
